im going to see my buddy tomorrow about the brackets as well as have some rock rings cut out for my new wheels

should have more info after the weekend

dude just let me know because you are a little over an hour away from me so i would be really interested because i want to switch to a 6.5in long arm soon but idk how you would do that

i would like to see what you come up with for the 3 link. as price goes any ways. i wanna run a 3 link with 52" chevy rear leafs on sliders at about 4.5 of lift... 37s????

If I may I'd like to make a suggestion. I would recommend that you try to use readily available service parts, such as a heim size that's common and maybe a bushing from a newer Jeep that people will be able to replace with common off the shelf parts without trying to track you down again in say 5 to 10 years...

same goes for the rubber bushings.
but thanks for the ideaUPDATE: I stopped by my friends shop and the pieces will be cut out next week. one thing i might do is go with square control arms.
any thoughts on this?

And get yourself some liability insurance...you do not want to be selling any suspension components without it! Not that you'll need it, but you should have it. Just talking from experience.

anyone have any input about square control arms vs round control arms?
i have round arms on mine but iv seen a lot of square arms used and beat on hard.

Id do square if you can make em high enough clearence... they look good and are tough as hell boxy arms for a boxy jeep right?!

the bottom of the cross member will sit about 1 inch below the frame rails, the rest will be tucked up above or even with the frame rails to give you the most clearance possible. thats how mine is set up and it works great. square arms it will be then

theres going to be a few different options to pick from depending on how much you have or want to spend but 500 is the goal.
I get paid thursday so when that happens then ill pick up material for the first kit from the steel yard and i should have my brackets done by then.
