I fixed my Cherokee's DW. But what I see in those videos dosen't look anywhere near as severe as what I dealt with. Those wronlger owners should'nt try to fix it, leaving the road uncontrollably due to DW may be the only way their wronglers ever get to see the dirt.

Mom and Pop's 07 JK had it about 1k after they bought it used, and it got worse and worse until he eventually swapped a Rubi front end in. Didn't help. Then he spent 3 months going back and forth to the dealership until they finally figured out that new tires would fix it. Any design, especially a new one, that does that **** because the tires were rotated poorly, despite having some life left, is a pile of ****. Death to New Chrysler.

this is TOO common in jeeps. DC needs to step up to the plate and fix this issue. Greedy corporate bastards. And to say they never heard of the death wobble. Open up any jeep forum see how many times this comes up.

Yes I did.
Do you just never research anything? Death wobble isn't isolated to Jeeps. Also, production of (the Cherokee stopped in 2001, not 2004 like you wrongly claim. Talk to some REAL Jeep owners, those of us that maintain our own parts and don't bother with the stealership, not some housewife that tries to use a Jeep as a grocery getter only.
That's what I just sent.

It doesn't seem like abc really did much investigative reporting. This seems more like an assault on jeep as they dramatized the issue with "first hand accounts" and all the "factual" "statistical" data I saw presented. Nope.. They just needed to fill a few minutes of air space with something to keep people worried and frustrated. It's terrorism; control thru fear...
rough country is selling a lift that is causing a death wobble, read my other post . They RC know theres a problem and they r doing nothing about it. That came strght from RC SALESMAN, Me on the phone with RC hey got a death wobble after installign ur lift kit, RC answering back yea we knew u would HELLOOOOO!!!!!
wow what a bunch of stupid people, 90% of the 70% of jeep drivers who actually modify their jeeps never see DW especally stock, its not a manyfacture problem, whatever shop worked on it last probibly left something loose or any number of problems, also, howabout insted of harassing jeep they harass 4x4 shops that make the products that we all know and love while they are at it, and i know this isnt only a jeep problem, so why did i see the name jeep used so much? i mean really jeepjeepjeepjeepjeepjeepjeepjeepjeepjeepjeepjeepje epjeep
ps. 75% of statistics are made up on the spot lol

"hysterical"? Hardly.
In a tv news format, you have to choose what info to include. Our story was much more in-depth than most. Of course, we know about the other models, but we found the NHTSA numbers on the jeep to be compelling.
Thanks for the critique,
Dan"
The worst thing is they knowingly left out that it's an industry-wide problem and instead made it appear to be confined to Jeeps.
