We are in the middle of moving, taking one load at a time, per day. I loaded my jeep with my weights (about 400 to 500 pounds), kind of spread out from front to back. By the time I was done loading, I found my rear axle to be about a half inch away from the bumpstops. Does that sound normal? The bumpstops (stock) are fairly new as I didnt have any before. I do plan on lifting 3 inches at some point, just not sure which route to take. I do mostly street driving. With a lift, I may even hit up some sandy beaches to go fishing.

Yeah. The stock rear leafs sag badly over time and obviously will squat with a few hundred lbs back there.
I recommend a full leaf pack when you lift, not an add a leaf.
