Default Lights?

Im looking to buy some auxiliary lights, was wondering what differences do long range and driving lamps make, could i use long range lights on the road?

I'd recommend driving lights for on road use, they should give you a little wider pattern, where long range spot lights will be really pin pointed. My general rule of thumb with auxiliary lights is if they don't blind the other drivers then your probably ok, aiming then properly is key. Oh yeah put them on or near the bumper for street use, operating them much higher than that and you may get to know your local law enforcement a little better.
