Light for my Roof Rack
So i recently made a gear basket and i am looking for some lights to put on the top. I read that the 30 dollar walmart lights are good but would i be better of to buy some KC lights or a name brand? What am i really sacrificing for the cheep price or with KC's am i mainly paying for the name?

I run the baja lights from walmart. I like them for the price. There is a bulb upgrade that can be done. The only thing i dont like is how fast the hardware rust. It was pretty much over night. Look in my album for some pics

I have cheepo wal-mart lights(55watt) on my front bumper now and they are ok, (well good for $20) i was just mainly looking for lights to shine to the way outside like this \ / so i can light the ditches up better and they sure do do that. But in the past i have ran kc lights and i must say they are WAY brighter and better built than my current wal-mart lights but the kc was more wattage(130watt) so obviously brighter. But in my opinion if your looking for a good well built set of lights to last a long time and dont mind spending the money KC's are definatly the way to go, they will outlast wal-mart lights anyday. My dad has his kc's from when he was a kid(say 15-20 years) and still worked dang good. I just bought the cheepo wal-mart lights because i didn't have much money and wanted a set of lights, but my plan is to run them on the front now and when i get the extra cash buy kc's and throw them up front and put the wal-mart lights on the back for back-up lights.

You get what you pay for man. I have 4 Daylighters on my roof and they are brighter then s***. Look in my pics and you will see what I am talking about. I also have a pair of Hella 500ff on my bumper. Those arent as bright as the daylighters but they are still brighter then my high beams. My advice is to go with a brand like Hella because they are alot cheaper then the Daylighters and still are pretty bright.

Worst money I ever spent was on the Wally World lights. Mid as well flush money down the toilet with your dead fish.
I recently bought four of these. They are just as good as the 2 KCs I have on my front bumper.
Sand em down and slap some black paint on them.
Comes with everything needed to wire them up.
