I'll have to diagree since, if you look closely, you can see that the (currently not lite) indicator directly above the fuel gauge shows a gas pump. I'd bet that is the "Low petrol" light.
What year make and model vehicle is this, anyway? I'm guessing it's a Liberty by the looks of the dash and the fact they're called Cherokees in other parts of the world.

Here's an excerpt straight from the OEM Manual:
"Security Alarm System Indicator Light - (If Equipped)
This light will flash rapidly for approximately 16 seconds after all of the doors are locked and closed to signal that the system is arming. After the alarm system successfully arms, the light will flash at a slower rate to indicate the alarm is set."
