Lifting (true/false)

SO i was told if i were to take the leaf springs on my 1999 jeep cherokee sport and drop the axle and flip the leaf springs it would give me around a 6in lift. is this true? Then on the fronts i just get bigger coil springs.

It won't give you any lift, but it will relocate your axle like 5" to the rear.

are cherokees are already spring over... On a YJ you can take the axle and put it on the other side of the springs, netting you lift... so who ever told you that never looked under a cherokee
