Well i got a jeep for about 800$$ the PO did a compression test. the 2 middle tested low while going to the outside of the middle each way the compression got better. I am just guessing the head gasket. What do you think ?

Do you know the actual psi's and did the PO do a wet and dry test?

 

Really gotta have the numbers. Can you access a compression gauge and run a test?

 

I cannot right now. My jeep is in the shop. I just want to diagnose it.
Middle around 45
Outer 140 ish if that helps

 

headgasket is a pretty reasonable guess
