Default lifted more than i thought

ok so i was reading last night that from the center of the hub to the center of the fender well should be 17". well i went out last night and i checked. i got 23 front and rear. thats 6" more that what is stock. i factored in my 31" tires and since the stock tirea are only 29" i factored in the one inch that mattered and that still leaves 5" of lift. and i only have a RE 3.5" installed. im not complaining. but damn haha. had i known i was gonna get this much lift ida bought an sye by now. cuz i got shaft vibes bad haha. i was wonderin y i was vibrating and was trying to factor out driveline angle and thats the first thing i checked and i was right i guess. cuz i hear you need an sye after 4". o well haha time to save up

All lift kits I have experienced are a little higher than advertised when new. It will settle a bit...espicially after you take it off road and flex it out a few times really good. In fact, I'd worry about it being too stiff if it didn't settle a bit.
