Default Lift and tires help

Im wanting to put a 3.5" lift on my 2001 Cherokee along with 33" tires. What would I need to replace on my Cherokee after putting the lift on? I've hear alot of things might need to be replaced to eliminate vibration and things like that. And would this be enough to make a jeep not wimpy? Any help is greatly appreciated!

you're probably going to have to trim your fenders to fit 33's maybe.
jeeps are never wimpy. mines stock and it gets me places i dont think i could get otherwise. stock jeeps can do stuff too. haha.

im interested to know where you got the 3.5 lift. i wouldn't mind doing the same.

i dont think you have much to worry about at 3.5 maybe extend breaklines to be safe.

Plan on cutting a good bit to fit the 33s. Drive shaft angles should be fine and brake lines can be moved enough to work without buying longer ones..

Hard to say. 4.5" is usually the magic number but not always. Once you get it in you'll know.

Cut the fenders!! Moved the XJ flares up or get TJ flares to save $. Or go flareless!!

A Slip Yolk Eliminator is not nessasary, but a rear shaft with a double cardan joint will be needed to stop driveline vibrations. The SYE/Shaft combo is a common way to get the Double cardan, but you can save $ and get a shaft like this:

TJ's/YJ's need a SYE because they have such a short shaft to begin with.

I have 5" up front with no extentions on the brake lines. in the rear I made a bracket to lower the hose.
