I've been lurking here for a while, soaking up all the good advice. I finally found a great 2000 XJ with 24k original miles(!!!) and I want to do right by her.

Can anyone recommend a lift mechanic/off road shop in the Northern NJ/NYC area? I want to install a RE 3.5 SuperRide with SYE kit. I've been to 3 local shops and they've all been a bit baffled by the Crown SYE kit, which frightens me. I need someone that really knows what they're doing.

Sorry but DIY is not an option. Thanks.

 

My uncle has a shop in Old bridge NJ, right off of 516. He just did my 3 inch lift without a problem. its called P & E autobody.

There's always OK4WD in Stewartsville, NJ they specialize in trucks and lifts and I'm sure they could do it as they are great with that kind of stuff but you would need to call and set up an appointment.

Where are you in jersey? PM me I'm a mechanic by trade. Done plenty of lift kits, have a lift/tools and will get it done correctly for you...

Make sure you keep up on the maint. of ur coolant system and she'll run forever.

 

Last November I was comfortably standing while working on a vehicle on the lift! Duh! Haha
