I just got a 1990 jeep cherokee and need a little advise if anyone would be able to provide some helpful tips. I would like to put a lift in my jeep but don't want to spend too much where could I get a good lift kit for a good price? Also I was looking at winches and I am unsure of what size would be good to put on the jeep. Any advise would be greatly appreciated as I am new at all this.

 

How much are you looking to lift? We can't make suggestions unless we know how high you are looking to go.

As for winches, I when I get a winch, I will be getting the Harbor Freight 12,000lb winch. A lot of people diss them, but I have seen several people say that they looked into parts and they are simply a rebadged high dollar winch.

 

Goto frank at serious offroad. And any 8000# winch is good for the Xj.
