Default Lift kit/ tires

I was thinking about getting ether a 4in or a 4.5in RC lift kit, but I have no clue what kind of kit to get
Also I want to get new tires I was thinking 31's but idk what kind (I will be using them mainly for on road driving, but I want them to be good in mud and rocks/trails for when I do take it off road)
any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

If your mostly road and mud and want rc, get the regular 4.5" but get full packs rather than add a leafs. if you want to spend more for a better riding kit, get a long arm. iron rock offroad and bds make great riding kits as well as Rubicon express, is pretty popular. as far as tires, look into Cooper discoverer stt's. handle great, and wear better than an all terrain(50,000+miles) but perform offroad just as good at a mud terrain tire. a good place to buy em is at Treadepot.com hope I cud be of any help!

A short arm kit keeps the stock upper and lower control arms which are the 4 bars that you see connecting the axel to the body.

A long arm kit replaces these with longer upper and lower control arms that attach to the body near the transfer case. It allows for superior ride quality and comfort, as well as fantastic offroad articulation. If you ask any jeep owner that has long arms what their favorite upgrade was, nine times out of ten they will tell you it's their long arm kit.
