What's the stats on your jeep? Year, lift, tires, armor? Why has it been towed away twice? What style of wheeling are you looking at doing, mud, rocks, or trails?

Take it wheeling, but start out on something easy. Research on some offroad driving techniques before you take it out, the xj is plenty capable stock but you'll want to get some experience before you try anything two difficult. Check you gas tank skid plate and see if it's plastic, the steel ones came in a package which included a t-case skid and front end skid.

Yea you are good to go for trail running. I asked why it was towed to make sure you wouldn't be left stranded it you took her out. As the poster above me said, look up some tips and pointers for wheeling, and go have fun
