Lift kit

Default Lift kit

I finally decided to install a lift kit on my 1997 xj, only one problem, I have no idea where to start...lol, I'm doing some reading and there's so many to choose from, I want a 3-3.5 lift can any body give me any pointers?

I would definately take it 1 side at a time. Be patient. I lifted mine last week and I started with the rear. Truthfully it is up to you to decide where to start. Just remember that a torch and pb blaster is your best friend. And if you live anyplace that gets snow you might want to consider a grinder or a cutting wheel of some sorts to help with the leaf spring bushings to come off of the bolts.
