lift on Cherokee classic

I want to put a lift on my jeep just wanted to know how much/high can I do without replacing stock shocks and what not.

If your lifting you should replace the shocks. But you'll be limited to a 2" Spacer and shackle and that's pushing it

1-2", depending on the Jeep.
But if you're gonna lift it, do it right. If you're not willing to replace things that should be replaced (and probably will have to be replaced anyways), leave it stock.
