all 4 roof lights were pointed straight out, and the 3 front were middle one straight and both outers were pointed out on an angle

reverse lights were wired in connection with the stock lights.... should've mounted them lower
and the reverse lights also were wired into the stock turn signals

Lets see some Light setups (front/back/side) light bars and other light mounts!!-100_0551.jpg
all 6 are pointed forward, roofs about 30 yards ahead and the bumper lights about 15 yards ahead

Here's mine SO FAR, I plan on adding a roof rack with more lights later on. Just two Hella 500 driving lights. They are great driving down canyon roads here in California.

P.S.
Very cool thread I love seeing XJ's with a butt load of lighting.

Default Peep Lights

Run my roof lights on stock roof bar, all stainless fasteners, dual power feeds from aftermarket relays,(roofs draw 25 amps) relays powered from added dash switch, on stainless bracket, roof lights are plastic housed halogen bulbs, same on bumper stock locations, the headlights are silvania silverstar, really nice lights but they need replacing yearly ( I travel day and night 60 to 70,000 km yearly) Some yellow lenses for a broader fan of the light, the clear lenses are more concentrated beams.Headlights are 50/60 W low/hi. Lots of winter here, need corrosion resistance, note the deer whistles under the lights, see lots of deer and swamp donkeys, havn't hit one (yet)

since I did not want holes in the front bumper, my driving lights are attached to my front license plate homemade bracket. This way, they can be removed in case the vehicle is sold and extra lights are not something the buyer is interested in(or holes in the bumper for that matter).

All I had was 2 extra little lights on my bumper.

New rig will be same thing except the two in the grill will be Hella 500s and I'm planning to have 2 lights up top on the roof rack facing forward and 2 more facing the rear.

Will aftermarket lights connect to the wires from the stock fog lights?
