Lightbulb Learned Something Today

I finally learned how important lockers are when your 4x4 in mud. My neighbor has a Jeep TJ 4cyl & got stuck in her backyard(mud) tryin to make room for parking in driveway havin party. So I figure I might be able to pull her out. I hook up tow strap & off we go mud flyin but only a couple of our wheels would move at a time either same side spinin or even caty corner but not all 4. After about 15min I dug myself in almost as bad as her & now have to unhook her jeep & jack mine up throw boards under left front & right rear to get myself out try same for her jeep but didn't work holes too deep boards too small. So in the end tow truck had to be called to pull her Jeep out in her own backyard. Lesson learned get lockers put on front & rear get all 4 wheels spinin same your chances of gettin out increase dramtically cause not just the wheel that lost traction is spinin like the factory design for drivin on the street & maybe in a snow storm.

Lockers or welded up always help! Also another way to get stuck is if you are open front and rear and get flexed out and say one of the back tires is off the ground, always the tire not touching anything is gonna be the one that spins, you can take something that doesnt have lockers or welded up and get stuck a bunch, lock it in say just the rear and it always makes a world of diffrence!
