Hi, I seen a Jeep Wrangler online/YouTube that had a paint job or sprayed or however they did it not sure but it was with Kevlar I believe. I thought it was a bed linen paint material but I don't think bed linen comes in a paint lol. So I was wondering does anyone know how they do it because I would like to make my Jeep Cherokee like this. Here's some pictures I google.
How is this possible? Also it's the whole Jeep like that type of coat.
I actually like that, and I normally hate flat/satin black vehicles. If it's as practical as it sounds then - why not? Apparently you can even get metallic finishes for bedliner too so you don't have to look like Robocop.
Does it cost more than a normal spray job in a professional spray shop?
Those first 2 pics remind me of the Jeeps that Starwood Motors sells. Bro Jeeps as far as the eye can see. Some of them are over 100k
This is what they say ''The exterior of this Jeep has Starwood Motors signature finish that is infused with DuPont™ KEVLAR® Pulp. Impervious to the elements and guaranteed for life, this Jeep will be able to tackle any terrain without worry''
just browsing the website, and i see a picture with this caption.
"Inspired by a core philosophy of beautiful design, state-of-the-art technology"
"state-of-the-art technology"
