K5 dana 44 fit 89 cherokee

Im tryin to upgrade to a dana 44 and a guys got one off of a k5 will it bolt right up does anybody know thanks

No that isnt gona bolt right up with out some some mods. go look for a 44 out of a wrecked rubicon im pretty sure those will bolt right up! could be wrong though

Stick with the first thread you posted on this subject. No need to create several threads covering the same question.

Those, IIRC, aren't 'real' D44s.

rubi dana44's are dana44 centers with dana 30 outers(not a true 44) wagoneer 44's are what you want but it's not going to be a bolt in affair. Lots of welding involve with whichever alxe yoou decide to go with.

Question what year wagoneer? I have one sitting in the backyard and are they all around Dana 44 or what?

Pre early 80s.

It would be out of a full size Cherokee. Not our body style.
