just wondering bout something
i started building my own winch bumper and was wondering if it sticking out 17" sounds about right. it seems a little long but i measured it out before and thats what i ended up with. any input?

I know some one that had theirs sticking out 18 inches but it was on an old K5. Best thing is to mount the winch as close to the body as possible. The further it sticks out, you loose your approach angle

^^thats kinda y i made it so long, bout 2-3" for in between the grill and winch, 8 for the winch, and the rest for a brush guard and winch protection
