Default is it just me? or..

Is it just me or does all jeep owners fix one thing and something else goes wrong. Its so bad now I go to the parts store and buy parts and I get in the jeep and DING! my gas gauge drops to the e with a 1/2 tank of gas. I turn the switch over and it goes to normal and then slowly drops again..POS.

I feel your pain. I got an alignment and balance and then my steering box goes out.
I replace that and the next day my battery dies.
Get a new battery and a day later, I have the airbag light and my cruise control stopped working.
Small things for sure but at this rate, by the time I get everything replaced and running perfectly and the butterfly effect chooses someone else to bug, I'll probably have to buy new tires and mine are brand spanking new. Lol

Whenever I spend money on stuff I don't need, lift, AC, CB radio, etc, something important goes out like a starter or battery, or some sensor.

Fuel level sending unit. But mostly, fuel pump module.

If you don't like it, sell your Jeep and buy some cookie-cuttin' Kia.

Buy a new car with a big payment and a warranty... OR own your Jeep outright and deal with these things. I choose to own my Jeep.. its alot more fun than some overpriced new car/truck etc

Its what happens when you buy a car that's used.

knock on wood, the problems ive had, id fix one and no new ones would pop up. started out with 6 issues when I bought it 5 months ago, down to 1 now. but that's getting fixed when the part arrives.

I saw one of the 2014 prius and they seem to have been redesigned. Looks like a crappy Golf. I'm into it. 50mpg too.

I'm dealing with that as we speak. I was down to two big items that needed to be fixed, then I would finally get everything back to the way it should be. I had that howling coming from my front hub assembly and my flexplate to deal with. I replaced the hub assembly and got rid of the howl. Leaving just the flexplate to deal with. On my way home, the belt started squealing, so I peeked under the hood when I got home, only to find my water pump pulley was wobbly. Shut the motor off and pulled on the pulley and noticed it slid in and out a bit. Now, I just need to find time to replace it and hopefully just be back to the flexplate to deal with.

There are other lesser important things that need to be taken care of, but, it's a jeep and it runs.
