gonna be looking for the labaron hoodvents for my jeep....was wondering if icouldnt find any, is there any other vents from other cars that i can use

 

Just look for something that's gonna match the contour of your hood :flat: and see if cutting the hole and mounting seem doable other then than it's what ever
Catch's your eye. I scored a set off a 79 datson that are pretty sweet I just gotta find time to put em in

 

I'll keep an eye out for any types when I go today. The LeBaron ones have proven hard to come by lately.

there's a thread around here somewhere... i think the homebrew jeep mods thread in fab section, where a guy used vents you use for A/C in your home to add hood vents to his jeep. looks really good too! and cheap as all get-out!

 

Bunch of vents will work - LeBaron, Z34, Datsun, old MR2's, A/C vents from Lowe's/Home Depot......or check the for sale section on here. Don't bother getting drip pans for any vent. They're not worth it. Do it right and just di-electric all your connections under the hood.

 

i think i seen that on here....when i posted the thread, i left like 10 min later....while i didnt hood vents, i did find tierod from v-8 gc....score!!!
