You can get a brand new one for $35.00, why are you buying a junk yard one for $25.00? And the Mopar one is only $93.00 at www.rockauto.com.

My understanding is you can damage the IAC by applying power to it. Just do the ohms test. Mine tested bad so against my better judgement and advice from others not to I bought an aftermarket one from Rock Auto. Around $30 and so far so good.

If you get a multi meter you can test your IAC.

IAC ohms test:
Pin sequence;
A B C D
A to D/B to C = 40 to 80 ohms
A to B/C to D = open

Yeah i did test it. Mine was getting 12 volts and the ohms checked out but the pintle thingy never moved and you could feel the solenoid trying to move it
