XJ D44 is alway a nice score.
I would be looking for a XJ 4 cyl auto, to grab the front axle with factory 4.10's then go find a late 90's explorer for the rear 8.8, just make shure its one with 4.10's.
chevy blazer tire carrier's are used as tube doors.
YJ transmission and transfercase shifters!
Transmission shifter is a few inches longer, nice for use with a transfercase drop!
Transfercase shifter mounts on the transmission, and only has one linkage!
CJ or YJ roll bar. The upright tube fits nice if you cut off the bottom few inches. and plenty strong.

You'll never find one in working order. There was an XJ that came in the JY in mint condition with 74,000 but was in a front end collision. Everything was is awesome condition on the interior, but the center console latch was broken. I've been in dozens of XJs and have yet to find one unbroken.
Back to the task at hand. Look for factory tow points, aftermarket bumpers and other offroad accessories, lifts, springy mirrors, fan shroud, and a driver's seat without the lean. That should cover the average JY visit.
