So, I was thinking it might be helpful for those of us trying to build/upgrade on a budget to have a reference for the going rates for parts at the pick-a-part yards.
Also a good place to "brag" about recent junk yard scores.

Prices are regional, like all 1/2 ton rears are 75 bucks here but a good bit more in other areas. Kinda like I can get a clean stock mid 90s XJ with less than 150k for under 1500 bucks.

 

I paid $180.00 for a complete (drum to drum) Dana 44 out of an 88 XJ, and that included the core charge. And it has the same gear ratio as my XJ.

 

It would have been around $100 here with no core, that's if you can find one.

 

x2 same thing here. $100 bucks drum to drum. But htemn they want $20 bucks for a side view mirror.
