Default jrc diy rear bumper

so im bout to pull the trigger and buy one but my concern is if it will hold up as a recovery point since it only uses the stock four bolts on each side. same as how the stock bumper is held on. the nut strip isn't incorporated. so does anyone have experience or know for sure if it will hold?

I would do that but I already ripped my hitch bolts out thru the unibody so now it has huge holes where the hitch bolts use to be.

Save some money and build your own bumper. By the time you add in the add ons making that bumper worth using and add in shipping it's overpriced as hell considering how much work you still need to put into it.

You will need to repair that. Without the lower tie in's, it would not be responsible or safe to tow.

Do you have a picture of the damage? Maybe we can help make some repair suggestions.

Our DIY kits are not meant for everyone. These are designed to give you a aftermarket quality design for less cost. It's not meant to replace some 4"x2" boxed tube backyard bumper.

Many people don't have access to plasma cutters or other cutting equipment. They may also lack creativity or know how to design a safe and sturdy bumper. This isn't a knock on anyone, it's just that different people have different budgets and different wants/needs.
