Now that is a very good idea...... cutting the stock hood and having a filler piece made would be a whole lot cheaper than a aftermarket cowl hood.

Got mine from Good Hoods out of Florida, kind of expensive but very sturdy and is functional so it gets rid of the under-hood heat from my 383" Vortec Chevy conversion. Chevokeeman.

I got my 4" cowl-induction from Good-Hoods out of Florida, they are kind of pricey but very sturdy and gets all the underhood heat out of my 383" Vortec Chevy Conversion. Chevokeeman.

i found mine on a local 4x4 website used for 20 bucks... it is older and was kinda of beat up.. i repaired and painted it... it's a pin on fiberglass.
