Hey guys i am 17 years old and work hard for everything i have and have bought for my jeep making minimum wage working at a hobby shop in my town. I recently bought control arm drop brackets from jeepdude167 and sent the payment as a "gift" as he requested on paypal 145 bucks which is almost a full weeks pay for me i figured i could be nice and use the honor system and trust i wouldnt have to dispute it. I sent it last thursday and he said he would try and ship them out friday and so come friday i Pmed him asking if he shipped them and got no response and yet all threw before sending the money he PMed back within 5 minutes after work saturday stil nothing sent another one sunday still nothing and again on monday and yet still no response and now i get on today to sent him another PM and he changed it so I can not PM him so at this point i am guessing i just got screwed out of a whole weeks pay for me and i forgot to mention it has said he has been online I even PMed him while he was online so if any of you guys can maybe contact him for me or know him please i can use any of your guys help.

maybe some of the mods can get me the email he has put on here. I understand things come up and you cant reply but the fact that he has been online and hasnt responded and has now blocked all PMs really bugs me. thanks for reading this for those that will read it and thank you for your help

He received payment on April 20th and has yet to send the part. He is claiming that his week has been hectic but at this point I'm not buying it anymore. I sent him a PM today around 3pm and he has since been on the forum with no reply.

it really sucks, i always try and find the good in people and try to trust everone, i guess thats what we learn in age and why old people are so bitter

Heeeeeeyyyyyyyy I'm not bitter, just old----Hope things work out for you, I'm the same as you in that i look for the good in everyone. Sometimes ya get the short end of the stick.

 

If you have his address call the local police and see if they will help. Prepare to have all the documentation and be professional and courteous with them. If its a smaller town chances are you may have better luck. If all else fails haunt him, facebook, topix (in his town), etc. Google and google more, look for relatives phone, mail, and email them. Worse case you lost your money but maybe you can make him look bad to someone he may care about in his life.

 

facebook nothing showed up for where it says he live his email i tracked back to a college in another state so if all else fails im gonna try and call if they can get me in contact with him and i dont have his address but i will find him trust me.
