Question Jeep XJ Cherokee 4.5" Lift KIT X-SERIES & SYE KIT & CV DRIVESHAFT

hello, i would like to buy this kit from RC http://www.ebay.com/itm/251027570301...84.m1423.l2648 but i need to know if i may need anything alse for my 4.5 lift (is this kit complete?) I don't want to go crazy about it but i would like to do it right the first time.
I don't go offroading exept when i go camping whitch is like 3 times a year, i plan to drive it to work but want it to look cool(not stupid). i think i have a dana 35 rear axle ... will it be able to pull 32's?
or maybe i should get a 3" lift and save half the price?
oh man i just can't spend this kind of money twice.
thank you guys
Peter

I have that lift on my jeep. You can fit 32's. I didn't see any thing about brake lines. You will need them at height. If you. are going to go with a rough country lift call them and ask for Jason and tell him your a member here. You get a discount for it.

i will call RC tomorrow thanks! how is your lift holding up?
what if i want to go with a 6.5 long arm in a year or two will these shocks still be good? my XJ is man like new! i got it from a fleet pool (oregon state) only 70K miles, no rust very clean! so i think its worth building up...

Lift is holding up good. It's been on for about 4 months. It not a DD but gets driven 3-4 times a week. If you plan to go 6.5 long ARM in a year I wouldn't even buy the 4.5. I would only do it once.

Spray down the bolts a day before and take your time, so you don't break any bolts.

Ok friends i need some help! I installed the rc 4.5'' lift kit over the weekend got some 31'ns with new rims. the instalation was easy! no broken bolts or unexpected problems. I took it for a spin down the street and was very happy not to feel any vibration from the transfer case max speed 25mph. Then i drove for like 2 miles on a freeway -- it drove nice however when i drove over a small pothole the whole car started to shake like crazy! i slowly came to a stop, inspected all i could, didn't find anything, got in the car and it drove fine till the next bump! so i was thinking that maybe i forgot to tighten the shocks down? that's not the case, i checked.
So did anyone have had the same problem at all?
i'm taking it tommorrow to get the alignment done. but i don't think it will fix the problem.

Besides getting it aligned, a good steering stabilizer shock works good as long as all ur tie rods n such r tight n balljoints r good. I have that same lift on my 99 for a couple months and32x11.50s. I dd it every week n trail ride whenever I can and like the kit.

Recheck the bolts on your track bar.

Thank's to everyone for your advice. I checket all bolts and none were loose however i remembered one important thing---when i was asembeling the adjustable control arms i probably didn't tighten them all the way. i mean the bushings

Yes, it was the "death wobble"
After I tried everything possible to get rid of it I almost gave up!
Readjusting all 4 arms, messing with bushings, getting the alignment done, balancing tires, adjusting the track bar etc., I also ordered a new steering stabilizer in hopes that it will at least cover the shake…

Well the problem was one of my front wheels!
I just rotated the tires and bingo no death wobble anymore!
I hope it helps to someone who may have a similar problem.

i have a rc 3" lift kit and have had it for over 6 years and it has been the best lift for the money i can think of. it hasnt failed me in off roading and i niether do that much off roading but occasional weekend trail riding. i run 31s right now and i had to trim the front bumper a little but nothing serious. i highly recomend the rc 3" lift.
