Default Jeep wouldn't start..... Well, there's your problem

10 hour day at work..... gotta love it. Then go out to jump in the jeep and head home, only to hear a whining/spinning sound and the jeep not turning over. Not a great way to end the day. I try to jump it and still nothing. So, since I have remote start on it, I watch the starter and start the jeep, but something isn't right. Then there it is..... The starter is barely hanging on for dear life. The top bolt had fallen off and the bottom bolt is barely hanging on. A nice walk to the parts store across the street from work, to get a new bolt then crawl underneath while in the parking lot of my restaurant. I don't think the starter would've stayed on for another mile, with as far as the bolt had backed out. So, new bolts and some blue loctite and all is good.

Exactly. I use to retighten all bolts on my Kona Coiler after every ride. The bolts on my '04 R6 were safetywired and so on. I've learned my lesson on my XJ
