Colorado, it's jeep wave after jeep wave. Texas, unspoken courtesy on back roads is the courtesy wave...no matter what's being driven. People will not jeep wave in the cities however.

I just got my first Jeep wave the other day, after 2 1/2 years of driving my XJ. Was from a young(ish?) gal in a gorgeous early 80's Cherokee Chief. My face lit up like a christmas tree from excitement over it finally happening that I almost forgot to wave back!

Ya got heart, but short story long, a buncha cherokee/grand wheelin buds of mine have now gone on to build YJs... I don't blame 'em really... They are cheap(er... than most wranglers)... leaf sprung which for wheelin in the PNW isn't a bad thing with our sidehills and snow...
Anywho.... we always laugh how nobody here will wave at YJs... it's like the square headlight black sheep of the family.. seriously...
Fawk waves... all that matters is your treated with respect among your wheeling family... anyone can buy one.
