I never used to get waves from anyone but wranglers. I think it's mostly that the Jeep mentality is strong in the wrangler community, but the average cherokee owner doesn't have a clue.
That said I get waves from everybody when the doors are off

Just a few days ago, some black sedan pulls up next to me while driving at 35MPH and they start to honk their horn and wave. The passenger, some chick was all smiling and saying something. I had my arm hanging out the window (usually do when driving) and gave them the middle finger with a big smile, then I kicked my Jeep into 2nd gear and sped off. How annoying. You little fairies honking and waving need to STOP, before I put my foot up your ***.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
There are a number of milk run Cherokees in my area that I'll glance at. But, built Cherokees get a lifted hand. BTW, the recognition is returned. Just being nice, a small town thing I guess.

To be fair, most of New Jersey people are friendly. It's mostly a myth that NJ residences are asshats, just like that show Jersey Shore is nothing more than a ridiculous myth. The people there are friendly and just like anybody else. It's all nonsense.

Must be a Jersey thing to be an impolite and rude person without grounds. And X2 on the kids comment, there are young people that use this forum as well, so tone it down a notch tough guy.
