Default Jeep tick

My jeep has a knock or a tick when it starts but quites when warmed up

Every 4L (and 4.2 for that matter) that I've owned has had "the tick". As long as your oil level is good and everything under the hood looks to be in good shape I wouldn't worry about it...

What causes that I bought this jeep six mouths ago It only has 110,000 on it my last jeep had 200,000 + on it and it never made any noise

The oil gauge Is at 40 psi cold and at running temp at idle is 20 is that normal

its called dry start look it up ahahhha
its when your oil is cold its thicker
so then it has a harder time flowing into your lifters
until it warms up then itlle stop
