Browsing CL and saw this http://dallas.craigslist.org/search/...kee&catAbb=sss Maybe I'll put some Rubicon decals on my XJ and say I turned it into an Jeep Cherokee Rubicon Edition.

That guy is a jerk. He does not really understand the real value and equipment on a Rubicon. If he put that thing on a real trail, it would be a joke.

Yeah, I don't understand it. I mean, if you like the liberty, or whaterver, great. But why put Rubicon, or any kind of off road stickers on it. Such a poser!

First off why are you looking at Libertys for sale and second I'm going to put a Rubi sticker on my wife's car and then it'll be cool too. Maybe I'll put a trail rated badge as well then go hit up some rocks. He says it's his version of a Rubi, I'm guessing he doesn't know what one is other than a sticker package.

"Okay, at this present time Jeep does not offer a Rubicon edition in a Liberty. This is my version if offered." jeep will never offer a rubicon edition on a liberty because it looks stupid its hella heavy and it looks stupid. wait.......

Well, first and foremost if Jeep EVER did (which they won't) make a "Rubicon" Edition of the Liberty the FIRST option it would have is 4wd.

The only thing that really is a problem is the fact that it is 2WD.
Hell I drive a KJ (06 Liberty) and I like it, but I am not going to say its better then a XJ, but from a DD standpoint its pretty similar, and stock KJ vs. stock XJ they are both pretty capable and pretty close to the same, other then the IFS..
Its got a skid row front skid, mopar engine tranny and t-case skids, rear hitch, and I made some D-ring reciever hitches up front for recovery, I almost put a OME Rancho lift on it, but it would of ran about $700 for a 2.5" gain, and I got a XJ for $1100 since I missed my old one, and that seemed to be a better choice for some more serious wheeling

Its a liberty with a sticker.
