wanted to start a thread for all the people who are able to make the trip to the Jeep Blessing in Mesick, MI every year... so post A pic of one of your rigs out at the blessing, maybe someone saw it and wanted to say "hey nice jeep" or so future visitors can say "i saw your jeep before"

i like the grills over the headlights. what are they?

 

those are like .20 steel rods from the department store in my town.... it cost like $6 to do both headlights.


green dots are holes drilled just barely larger than the rod, light blue/teel are the rods (make sure you cut them to just barely fit, basically you'd want maybe 1/16th to an 1/8th inch to pass through the headlight bezel...) throw some gorilla glue on the back sides and WABAAM headlights guards for cheap

yea.... but in technicality it was actually the only pic of my green jeep that we took that day (my current DD) so yea i did but it was for good reason haha i laughed after i capitalized the A and looked and saw the pics

 

If its held in Mesick, MI every year... I want to go one of these years.

Ive only seen youtube vids of this event, but its definitely something I want to attend.

for 2011 it will be April 30th, typically it is the first weekend in May but they made an exception for 2011. its a one day main event and then the day after there are many group trail rides and other events that pop up every year.. my group usually goes and camps out close by some trails so its a really good time
the event itself starts around 8am and basically ends mid afternoon like 3-5ish

Hmm...a little over 5 months away.
Well, looks like Im not gonna be able to make it for 2011 Grr!

 

lol it doesn't take 5 months to drive to michigan

 

end of April.....I may be able to make time for the 18 hour drive up there. Might as well swing by my folks place outside Flint while heading up there.
