Jeep 99 XJ Roof Rack Help!!
Hello peeps!! Im wondering what size of roof rack basket I can add on my Jeep Cherokee 1999.. I've seen this one on EBAY and not really sure if this one will fit on mine..

If I read it correctly it 48Lx38W, that will certaintly fit a top your jeep. I Just built a rack myself measuring 60Lx40W. Its on my build page if you wanna check it out. That rack seems sorta small, but if it does what you need then go for it. Looks decent and a great price.

I don't know how to weld, but I'll probably be trying it out this year.
Yeah, that's definitely a nice design and build, even if you did have to grind your welds. Good job man, props for taking it on!

I had a Yakima Megawarrior and i didn't really like it....too big for my liking.

Agreed on the Yakima... Something about it just didn't work out to well for me. I had the Loadwarrior with the extension and sold it.

You can buy gutter mounts or build them, There is not a lot to them. There sturdy than the stock rails. I just put some that were built for me to work with my rack.
