I have done the swap to poly track bar bushings. Cheap and easy to do and it really tightens up the steering response.

Poor guy in the comment section claims the front axle has to be removed so that top bushings can be burnt out.

even worse, he was changing the rear bushings

However they've all effectively got me worried about having to relube poly bushings to opt for rubber when the time comes

I cut the lip off mine and pressed it out with a ball joint press. Easy peasy.

^Good idea.
I drilled a few holes in rubber, sleeve fell out then bushing can is able to collapse and also falls out. Used a ball-joint press to install frozen bushings.
