Default Jack question

Ok so the best price in town on my 33 x 10.5 BFG ATs is at Costco. Problem is they wont install them cause they only install tires that will fit stock suspension, its liability thing. I just got the XJ, it has a 4.5" lift with 33s. I need to buy a jack for the garage. Will a rolling floor jack go high enough or do I need a Hi-Lift?

A rolling floor jack would be plenty if you're just jacking it up off the axles to remove the wheels/tires.

Thanks, BTW Your Jeep looks tuff in your avatar. So I gotta get 4 jack stands and get this baby up so I can get all 4 tires off at once. Will I be placing the jack on the axle or the "frame". I guess I need to put the stands on the axles so they dont droop? Sorry I'm a complete newb. Lol

For the frame you'll need 6 ton stands. I place the jack on the lower control arms and jack high enough to slip a stand under the frame. Some times when I'm wheeling I Just use a big *** boulder.

Place the jack stands under the axles.

I have never heard them say they won't touch something because it has a lift on it.Do you have wheel spacers or adapters on it?

There are a couple places around here that refuse to do do work on my jeep because its lifted. Luckily i have found a handful of places that will do the alignment.

They will only install a tire size that will fit the vehicle at its stock hight. It doesn't matter to them if its been lifted. Thats what he told me anyway.
