Default Iridium Spark Plugs Question

So pulled the old plugs from the jeep and theyre Champion Iridium plugs. I use oem copper core plugs....are the iridium plugs too hot? never used them before, just curious.

It's a gimmick unless you have ultra high compression in which case it *might* be beneficial.

Just put in some new coppers that plug is better suited for a newer high compression engine with direct injection

I just put in some e3s and my jeep seems much happier. Better gas mileage too

Yeah, Ive never seen iridium plugs before (I live under a rock) been doing some reading and iridiums tend to overheat from what ive been reading...ive always used oem coppers.

They're just longer lasting for extended service intervals - not something you're going to need on a Jeep
