Steve from Hutchinson Mn, just bought my Jeep for my new winter beater. Bought my Jeep lifted with 31's on it and spent 3 days getting it road worthy, she's a beauty lol.
hey all, ive been on here for maybe a week, needed some help with my newly aquired cherokee, which is coming along quite nicely thanks to everyones help on here thus far. my names Matt. im from upstate new york. i own a 1997 cherokee, 2 inch lift, spacers in front, blocks in the back... intake, flowmaster exhuast built by me... just got my tranny back into working order again. down to a power steering pump and some new tires, and rebuilding the rocker panels later this week... but just figured id intro myself, and let ya'll know to keep your eyes open for the NY XJ lol
Wow, lots of MN people here on the board.
I'm a newbie too. Lurk a lot more than post. Used to drive a cherokee for work, and just recently bought one. Slowly tinkering with it to get it how I want. There are a few pics in my album if you wana check it out.

I am originally from Willoughby, OH, have relatives in Ravenna, OH (hey, troy_fritz) and lived for a short time in Lakewood, OH (hey, JasonPrime), just moved to Tampa, FL with my 2000 XJ.
My wife and I both have XJs, which I purchased from my former employer for $150 each. They are retired TV news cars with more than 150k each, a little rough, but run great. I originally intended to donate one to Boy Scout Camp Stigwandish in Madison and fix the other one up to bang around in, but after I got laid off last December we gave up our newer cars (H3 and Element) and began driving the XJs.
I have become fond of them and have begun fixing things here and there. Makes me feel like a kid again, when Dad and I spent weekends working on our cars.
Great forum; I have found a ton of resources already!

are you from MN too? What city? I'm from Forest Lake, north of the metro.
I'm David, from Oxford, Mississippi.
New to the XJ world, but been jeeping in my '58 CJ5 for awhile now.
I have owned quite a number of cars, trucks, and SUV's but none have I been hooked on like my Jeeps. There haven't been any I have wanted to mod like this XJ. It's going to keep getting built, and be one hell of a toy when I am done.
