Cool Interest in carbon fiber parts?

A good friend of mine owns a carbon fiber (Real carbon fiber) business. He & I have been friends for over 10 years.

We're both enthusiasts as well, of course. All supplies are sourced from the USA & all work is done in the USA (He is based in FL)

I'd be happy to become a vendor if there was enough interest.

I recently sent him several pieces from my Corvette that I should have back soon. Can't wait to get them in my car!

Here is a link to some of the work he has done:

Customer I just sold some E36 BMW door handles too has posted very pleased w/the product:

Thanks,
Tom

Everyone should read, whether you're in the market for carbon fiber today or not, the "How to buy carbon fiber" post on G3's Facebook page:

how strong is carbon fiber? I think a set of carbon fiber flares would look pretty badass...

They will work for mall crawlers. But would crack and break for people who wheel their jeeps

How much does it typically cost? Do we send you a piece and then you make the same piece and send us back both parts? If you explained the process of how we go about getting pieces and costs then I'm sure people would get pretty interested. I would consider getting the plastic mold around the stereo and air controls in carbon fiber. Thanks!

Haha carbon fiber on a jeep seems a bit useless.

I can say that someone recently wrecked their race car w/some of his exterior carbon on it. Car was badly beaten, but the carbon came out of in perfect shape.

Cost varies. It depends on the part.

He creates molds & he also wraps (Still real carbon) existing parts.

If you're going for looks, wrapping is the way to go. Must more cost-effective & quicker turn around time.

Another satisfied customer below & his 4th gen Trans Am. He will be posting more photos once the rest of the items are done as he sent in even more parts after he got the first batch back!
