Denman Tire Company went bankrupt. Denman Tire Co. made several of Interco’s tires, and Interco owned approximately 20% interest in Denman. (see article linked below…)
DENMAN TIRE COMPANY filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy – Article on Tire Review web site.

I was told by our local tire dealer that the tire making machines they were using were being moved overseas or to another plant and they would start production again of the swampers.

Well I just herd from National Wheel and Tire. There plant was in Ohio or something and is moving to Tennessee. As for finding a different brand you must be nuts! The idea of a street tire like a BFG dose not interest me in any way. I go off road and every single tire test I have ever seen Supper Swammper is king. In every different type of conditions. They are by far the best all around tire always beating every other tire company in mud rocks every thing and they are still street legal. Thanks for the advice of finding a new tire company but I'm no mall crawler.

Interco Super Swampers

The company that was making tires for Interco went bankrupt. Interco is looking for a new supplier.

Yes their tires are hard to find/get. When supplies run out, thats it until a new supplier is found and operational.

Thats what I heard.

I never said there would be a better brand... that's all I run... its just I know if they was to move overseas then they wouldn't be the same tire they once was...

I ran into this issue about a month ago. I was looking for a set of rubber for my lady's TJ. Every place I called couldn't come up with anything.

On Interco's website you can find lists of dealers, thats the best I came up with.
