Has anyone installed grab handles on the pillar between the front and rear doors of their XJ? I was thinking of doing that, to help my kids get in to the jeep, and am wondering if anyone has done it and how.
I'm also thinking about those "stirrups" so the kids can use them to get up and in, then pull them inside. As opposed to a nerf bar.

Or you could get rock sliders that double as a step http://aresfabrication.com/shop/nostalgia-rockers/ or https://www.tntcustoms.com/jeep_part...dventure_steps

I have seen grab handles installed low on the B-pillar but cannot find the thread. They were tied into the sheet metal behind plastic trim.
I also need to do something to assist my six year old.
Here is a link to homemade grab handles for sale. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f73/ho...rokees-192224/

There are all kinds of cool options for the JK. I installed some Synergy MFG on my wife's JK & man does it make thing much easier to get in while looking more OEM.

On my JK, I installed Wild Boar no-drill required handles on my A-pillar and windshield frame, but I also installed 550 paracord grab handles because despite how "cheap" they look, they're made with a material rated for 550 pounds and are fastened together by steel d-rings rated for close to 300 pounds from Home Depot.

I know... not XJ related. I miss my XJ... but I recently gave my close XJ friend a set of handles for his XJ, and this is what we did with them:

If you have the bucket seats with the separate headrest like I did in my XJ, try that? They help with getting into the back seat of the XJ.
