Installed Detroit Truetrac-Diff Gets Hot?
So I just got a detroit truetrac installed, and after I drove home my diff cover was really hot. Am I just being paranoid?

Oh okay this is my first locker, and like I said maybe I'm just being paranoid after dropping nearly $600 in it. Thank you for replying!

When I installed either of mine it took a little but the cover went back to the normal temps. It is like breaking in an engine... vary your speeds and don't jump heavy into it too often. Give it a couple of days being gentle and once the gears have "mated" or imprinted on each other you will be fine.
