Default I'm sick of my Renix

I bought a 1989 XJ a couple months ago and it didn't run. I put a new CPS in and it ran great for a week them the ICM went out, got a used one and ran great again. Not to long ago I noticed it was running rough so I cleaned the throttle body and in the process of cleaning it, found that the IAC moved around quite a bit so I replaced it. After getting it all back together it ran a little better but not good so after researching I tried adjusting the TPS and ended up replacing it. Once again it ran great. Now today I get in the Jeep to go to work and I fired it up and like usual it jumped up to 1500 RPM's and then died. Tried again and nothing. Now I'm to the point were I don't know if I want to fix it, fix it and sell it, or part it out. Im just getting sick of fixing it all the time. Plus I don't have time since I'm stroking my 96 and I have a 5 month old baby.

sell it if you have a car to drive your baby in safely, if not then fix it.

That's the other thing. Im driving the wifes car which right now is the only working vehicle. So if the wife needs the car she has to wake up at 4am and take me to work

In your situation I think it's time for drastic measures. Sell either one of your XJs and put the money towards getting the other one fixed. IDK how close your stroked 96 is to completion or how much work your 89 will take but you need to get one running. And you need to do it before your wife kills you lol

Yeah im going to get the 89 running and sell it. I already have a guy that wants to buy it. He said he would give me $800 if its running and $400 if its not. I only have $400 in it including the jeep.

Well I bought a pickup before the wife killed me. Now I need to find time to fix the 89 and sell it before the wife has a reason to complain.
