Thanks guys. found the culprit to the overheating/MIA coolant... couple solder cracked on the radiator during the hard freeze we had. Bummer!

what do you mean 2nd gen bowties ? they cater to any chevy truck ever built they have sections for pre 35 and every generation of trucks from there to modern trucks i stayed mostly in the 60-66 section and 73-87 section i love me a square body chevy
