Okay this thread is probably pointless as I already know all there is about paint/body, suspension, and mechanical... I've done more then it takes the normal person 3 life times of multitasking to accomplish.. but I digress and will ask anyhow...
My jeeps been in the garage about a month now, I've got the body work done and looking to prime it sometime next week when it get warmer..
I have a Rubicon 3.5 SR full kit waiting to be installed..
Have about 3/4 tank of gas..
good air pressure in my hardly used Kumho AT's riding on stock alloys..
but the oil could use changing, and I was really wanting to try this seafoam stuff out.. so I'm in a quandary, what should I do first....??
oh also I have the primer and stock px8 here already if that helps........

Do the lift. Prime it. Skip the Seafoam and use some Rotella T3 with a good filter.
How sludgy is the oil if you shine a light into the oil filler hole?

I have a stock of rotella, 4 gals of 15w40 and 6 gals of t6 5w30 and a couple of fram filters...
I have tried to shine the light in the oil hole after removing the checking stick but the hole is to small for my light to shine down in there, there is a bigger tube toward the back firewall I think my light will have more chance making it in that hole....
I'm also wondering about my cracked windshield and weather I should have that replaced first before paint or simply cut some of the gasket off so paint can get underneath, this way in case the new weather strip is thinner it will have a painted surface to mate to...

admittedly a childish attempt to poke fun at a defenseless member, but I couldn't help myself and wanted to at least post my big 43 as it will soon be gone as monday is my b-day
early present to me...

lmfao!
T3 = 15W40 "Triple Protection". I assume that T6 is logically Hextuple Protection
Your engine just might be clean... gasoline is also a great solvent
I got a similar surprise when I did the VC gasket on mine with 350k KM
B-day on Monday? Then you won't have the answers to life, the universe, and everything anymore...

maybe I'll have to postpone or simply cancel my bday altogether so I can retain everything I've learned in life thus far....
