Ahh, how cool would it be to wheel this thing? I would just get it mechanically sound so that it wouldn't strand me, and leave it just the way it is. Camper shell and all. Something about this old, forgotten kind of vehicle always draws me in.

See, I think the shell makes it so much more awesome. It's ugly as hell, but that's why i like it.

I've made that mistake twice already. First with a 62 Fairlane then with a Nova. Didn't get very far with either one. Only have a carport in a rented condo otherwise I'd be all over it too.

I have a feeling my XJ could wheel circles around that heavy monster, but the J2000 would sound so much better getting stuck. lol

It's an FSJ... it will leave you stranded at some point. Ask anyone who owns one. That's all part of the allure.

My XJ, MJ and ZJ are all infinitely more reliable than my FSJ. But none are as cool.
