Driving through the farming country I passed by a truck scale at a nut processing plant about 9 PM. Everything was closed up except the scale. So I drove onto it and the big red number display went to 3880.

I subtracted the driver, fuel, and cargo weight estimate and figured as my 2 door 6 cyl 4WD is about 3470 pounds as equipped. The 31" tires and big wheels probably account for about 100 lbs over factory spec. Supposedly a stripped 2 door 2WD 4 cyl comes in about 2900 lbs.

Was always curious but now I know.

 

mine in stock trim with a half tank of gas and no spare weighed 3250.
